The Lesson on Behavior

Created by Neelesh 12 years ago
When i was a little kid below 10, i was turning into a stubborn spoiled child who was getting a little more of love and care. Once, i shouted at my father and started throwing things at him and my brother. He realized that it was a nice time to teach me a lesson on code of conduct. What did he do? He just started not talking to me. Everyone else did, he didn't. It was really strange and above that a very big deal for me that he was not talking to me. I felt so alone and felt the importance of his love and what actually he was trying to teach me. I took my schoolbag and went to him when he was teaching my brother and asked him to help me complete my homework. He talked to me at that time but very formally and in a very modest manner. I valued each word coming out of his mouth. I knew that he was special and i should never hurt him or insult him. Though i was less than 10, since that day i never intentionally tried to insult or dishonor his pride. Dear dad, i wish you were there in future to teach your grandkids the same lessons that you taught me. I would try but again a duplicate can never be as good as the orginial!
